A specific way I made my evidence file navigable for my attorney
My attorney was working with several clients simultaneously, and I wanted to make my specific file as easy as possible for them to quickly orient in, rather than assuming they'd remember every detail of my case between our conversations. What I did: a single-page summary document at the top of my shared folder — my name, the criteria I was targeting, a one-line status on each, and a brief note on anything that had changed since our last conversation. This wasn't a substitute for real conversations, just a quick-reference anchor so every conversation could start from an accurate, current shared understanding rather than my attorney needing to reconstruct context from memory or dig through the full file first. Small thing, but I think it made our actual working conversations more efficient and substantive, since we weren't spending time re-establishing context that a simple, consistently updated summary document could handle instead.
