What Radar actually caught that I wouldn't have found manually

Set this up mostly out of curiosity about whether it would find anything real, and it surfaced a mention of a project I'd worked on in an industry newsletter I don't normally read — genuinely useful evidence I wouldn't have stumbled onto myself, since it wasn't a publication in my usual field channels. What I appreciated about how it presented that: it didn't oversell the mention or suggest I should treat every alert as major evidence. Some of what it surfaces is minor and not worth acting on, and it's on you to judge which mentions are actually significant enough to add to your file — the tool finds candidates, it doesn't make the evidentiary judgment call for you. One practical thing I'd tell someone setting this up: be specific with what you're monitoring. My first attempt used a very common version of my name and returned a lot of noise from unrelated people. Narrowing the monitoring terms cut the noise dramatically and made the alerts I did get much more likely to be relevant.
